Life insurance, without the pitch.
Indexed universal life gets talked about in extremes — either it solves everything or it is a trap. Neither is a useful place to start. Sit down with someone who will walk you through the mechanics and let you decide.

Where we work
Home, Auto & Life Insurance
Under one agent
One person, start to finish
First call through claim
Why talk it through with an agent?
A conversation, not a seminar
You are not sitting through a presentation with a signature page at the end. Ask what you want, leave when you are done.
We start with what you have
Existing policies through work or elsewhere come first. Plenty of people already have what they need and do not know it.
It sits with everything else
Life, home and auto handled by the same agent means one person who can see the whole picture rather than three who see a slice.
Local, and staying that way
A policy like this can run for decades. Worth knowing the person who set it up is still down the road.
How the conversation goes
1
Explain your goals
Who depends on your income, what is already in place, and what you’re looking to achieve.
2
Talk through the details
How the product works, what it costs, and the parts that usually get skipped over.
3
No obligation decision
Writing a policy is not the goal. Preparing you for your specific goals is.
What we will actually look at
Term
Coverage for a set number of years at a fixed cost. The simplest thing on the table, and often the right starting point to measure everything else against.
What your already hold
Group coverage through an employer, an old policy you stopped thinking about, anything a parent set up years ago. We read it before we suggest anything.
Indexed Universal Life
The one most people come in asking about. We will go through how it is structured, what it costs to run, and who it tends to suit — in plain language, without the brochure.

Who You’re Calling
Justin Tharp, Licensed Agent

Questions people actually ask
Is indexed universal life the same as term?
No. Term covers you for a set number of years and ends. Indexed universal life is a permanent policy with a different structure and a different cost profile. Which one makes sense depends entirely on what you are trying to do, and that is the conversation.
How long does the first conversation take?
Usually under an hour. Bring any policy paperwork you already have — employer coverage included — and it goes faster.
Do I have to decide anything on the call?
No. Nothing gets applied for until you say so, and plenty of these conversations end with a recommendation to leave things as they are.
Can this be handled alongside my home and auto?
Yes, and that is usually the point. One agent across all three means one person who knows the whole picture rather than three who each see a piece of it.
