Home and auto, handled locally.
When something happens, you call a person you have met — not a call center. Same person who wrote the policy, same person who picks up.

Where we work
Home, auto and life
Under one agent
One person, start to finish

What working with a local agent actually gets you
Bundling, explained honestly
Home and auto together often costs less than the two apart. We will show you the numbers either way, including when it does not.
A direct number
No phone tree, no ticket number. You reach the person who knows your policy.
Reviewed, not just sold
We read what you already have first. If your current coverage is the better deal, we will say so.
Here, not somewhere else
Based in East Tennessee, working with people who live where we live.
How it works
1
Tell us what you have
Send over your current declarations page, or just the basics if you cannot find it.
2
We read it properly
Line by line, so the comparison is like for like rather than headline price against headline price.
3
You decide
If we cannot do better, we will tell you that too. No pressure either way.
What we cover
Home
Houses, condos and renters. Structure, contents, liability, and the parts people usually find out about too late.
Auto
One car or five, plus the drivers you worry about. Liability, collision, comprehensive, and what happens when the other driver has none.
Both together
Where most households find room. One renewal date, one agent, one conversation a year instead of three.
Who you are calling
Alex Tharp owns and runs Justin Tharp Insurance LLC, serving Knoxville, Morristown and the Tri-Cities.
What clients say
Moved both policies over last spring. One phone call, and we came out paying less than we were before. First time insurance has felt straightforward.
Sample review — Knoxville
Had a tree come down on the garage in February. Called and got a person, not a queue, and was walked through exactly what to send. It got handled.
Sample review — Morristown
Been with the same company eleven years and never really looked at what I was paying for. We went through it line by line and found gaps I did not know I had.

Questions people actually ask
Do I have to move both policies to bundle?
Generally yes — a bundle discount applies when the policies sit together. What we can do is time the switch so you are not paying twice or leaving a gap in coverage.
What do you need from me to run a comparison?
Your current declarations page is ideal, because it shows limits and deductibles rather than just the premium. Without it we can still work from the basics: addresses, vehicles, drivers, and roughly what you pay now.
Will switching hurt my rate later?
Continuous coverage is what matters most, and switching does not break it as long as the new policy starts when the old one ends. A lapse is the thing to avoid, and avoiding it is part of the job.
Is there any cost to getting a comparison?
No. You are under no obligation to move anything, and if your current policy is the better deal we will tell you.
Let us find out if you can save
Takes a couple of minutes. No obligation, and a real person follows up.
Rather just talk to someone?
Call and you will get a person, not a queue.
